Overview

Acapella’s new two-way system captivates with its simple, homogenous appearance, which can easily be integrated into any living room. Since 2012 these loudspeakers have been continuously optimised and now are being offered to the wider public for the first time. Its symmetrical construction enables an extremely spontaneous musical playback. Thanks to its low mass the one inch mid/high frequency driver can confidently reproduce the most complex musical structures with absolute ease and uncompromising dynamics. The hyper spherical shape of the horn, used (and patented) only by Acapella, offers neutral listening pleasure without the sound colouration that horn speakers are sometimes reputed to have. In combination with two ten-inch low/mid drivers (crossover frequency at about 700Hz) they create a time response comparable to that of a single-point speaker, which creates vivid reproduction in the listening room, equivalent to that of a live event with all its emotion.

However there is much more to achieving a musically appealing sound than just being able to skilfully manufacture the technology.
